COURSE OVERVIEW

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of USIM shall award the degree of 'Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery' (MBBS) to its successful candidates.

Basically,the program is divided into two equal phases,namely,pre-clinical and clinical phases with Islamic input integrated throughout the six-year program.

Entry requirement to the Faculty

The premedical courses are conducted by Tamhidi Centre, in the main campus. Pre-medical courses eligible for admission into the medical programme are as follows:

i. Tamhidi of Medicine

ii. Tamhidi of Dentistry

iii. Tamhidi of Science and Technology

A pass in the Pusat Tamhidi final examination with GPA of not less than 3.5 and fulfilling all other requirements for promotion to the 1st year of a degree program at USIM.
