The department is responsible for providing instructors for courses in structural studies of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in the components of Professional Education and Teaching courses. The main purpose of education courses is to give exposure to the students of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) on the development of education in Malaysia which includes the philosophy and policies of education, learning and student development, learning management, teaching and learning technology and assessment. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO BACHELORPass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM / equivalent) with at least 6C/Gred C in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Melayu 6C/Gred C / Bahasa Malaysia paper in July; and Passed the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with a CGPA of 2.00 and: Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies and Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) other subjects or Passed Matriculation / Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least the rank of Jayyid; or Possess a Diploma in relevant specialization program applied from institutions recognized by the Malaysian government and the Senate and at least a CGPA of 2.50; and Includes Certificate of Malaysian University Bahasa Inggeris Test (MUET) with at least a Level One (1) / Band A (1).
