COURSE OVERVIEW

The Foreign Languages and Translation Unit offers courses in selected modern languages and translation; primarily as electives for UKM undergraduate students who are interested in learning and mastering a foreign language or translation skills.

The School of Language Studies and Linguistics has five up-to-date sophisticated multimedia labs where most of the languages are taught. Equipped with the latest language courseware and internet access, your language learning is guaranteed to be lively and fun.

The Unit offers proficiency courses in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, German, French and Spanish. These courses are offered primarily to all undergraduate students. However, we also welcome postgraduate students into our classes.
