Overview

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde is delighted to offer a number of scholarships for a new entry. Scholarships are available for International (non-EU) students with excellent academic qualifications who have applied for a relevant course of study, commencing from September 2016.


The Strathclyde Business School aspires to be independent both academically and financially, elevated in the different aspects of knowledge and to link the programs and research it offers with the requirements of permanent development in the UK.


Students may be eligible for a Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship (FEES) towards their tuition fees of up £3,500* for the first year of their course of study.

Criteria

Applicant must meet all the below requirements

All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee paying students holding an offer and wishing to commence their full-time undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme at Strathclyde in September 2016 are eligible to apply.


 

Preferred Discipline

Scholarships are available within the Faculty of Engineering.


Scholarships are available for pursuing Undergraduate, Postgraduate taught as well Postgraduate research programme.

Amount Info

Undergraduate:

£3,500 scholarships towards course tuition fees are available for the first year of an undergraduate programme. Eligible students must achieve an average of 85% + (or equivalent) in their high school grades.

£2,625 scholarships towards course tuition fees are available for the first year of an undergraduate programme. Eligible students must achieve an average of 70% – 85% (or equivalent) in their high school grades.

Postgraduate Taught

£3,500 scholarships towards course tuition fees are available for students studying on an MSc programme. Eligible students must achieve a first class (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree.

£2,625 scholarships towards course tuition fees are available for students studying on an MSc programme.Eligible students must achieve a 2.1 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree.

Postgraduate Research:

A number of scholarships of up to £3,500 towards course tuition fees for the first year of a full-time Ph.D.
