The LCCI qualification can be used to enter a professional accounting body’s programme on path to becoming a professional accountant. The recommended time of study for LCCI is one year.

The LCCI is skill based vocational studies and can be seen as the bridge between the school leaving certificate and a professional course. It takes about one year to complete, with six subjects to be taken, with examinations held in June every year.

With a qualification in finance, one can move onto another professional accounting course from bodies such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW and AIA, and pursue their path to professional accountant status.

Jobs in the fields of finance, business administration, marketing, customer service, and information technology can be obtained with LCCI, where qualifications will be highly valued by employers.
