MARA to add four more MARA Junior Science Colleges (MRSM) by end-2014

Four new colleges in Perlis, Perak, Selangor and Sabah to provide additional 1,000 seats for each intake session
Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) announced it will set up four more MARA Junior Science Colleges (MRSM) which will be completed by end-2014. The colleges will be located in Arau, Perlis; Kuala Kangsar, Perak; Tanjung Karang, Selangor and Semporna, Sabah.
 
These four MRSM will provide an additional 1,000 places for students in each intake session. Currently there are 49 MRSM in the country. To get their exact locations, you can view here
 
“With the additional colleges, we hope to take in more students as we received 44,000 applications for the 9,000 MRSM places this year,” said MARA director-general Datuk Ibrahim Ahmad.
