5,200 Additional Places in Public Universities and Politeknik for 2013/14 intake

The government has decided to offer 5,200 extra seats in 20 public universities and 32 Politeknik’s this year (2013/14 intake). Each of the 52 institutions (20 public universities and 32 Politeknik) will offer an additional 100 seats. These seats will be offered to students from the lower socio-economic background who have obtained the minimum university entry requirements but are unable to compete with other students within the merit system.
 
UPU application opened on 7th January 2013 and closing date is on 15 April 2013. Application must be done through UPU website. To find out the courses offered to SPM students, check here. For courses offered to STPM/Matriculation/Diploma students, check here.
