No price hike for university tuition fees

  • The Malaysian government has assured that fees in institutes of higher learning (IPTA) will not be increased.
  • Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said that they will subsidise 90% of the cost of tuition fees and maintain the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), a government body that covers the cost of student’s fees and living expenses.
