TARC getting university college status next year

  • The Ministry of Higher Education has approved the upgrade of Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) to university college status effective next year. 
  • Dr. Chua also said that the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak who is also a finance minister will continue the special funding to TARC.
  • "This funding will be for capital expenditure and for operations. And next year, we have been told that the government in principle has promised RM56 million," he told a news conference at the party headquarters here today.
