The Ministry of Higher Education has approved the upgrade of Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) to university college status effective next year.
Dr. Chua also said that the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak who is also a finance minister will continue the special funding to TARC.
"This funding will be for capital expenditure and for operations. And next year, we have been told that the government in principle has promised RM56 million," he told a news conference at the party headquarters here today.
