  • Deputy Prime Ministry Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said Form Six will be rebranded to raise its image as a pre-university programme.
  • "It will have new uniforms, a different time-table and different teachers from normal schools," he said.
  • He said that the rebranding was needed to show Form Six is a pre-university programme and not a continuation from Form 5 studies.
  • Form Six began changing through its three-semester system this year but matriculation students finish their studies six months earlier. Muhyiddin said the ministry would study whether to shorten the Form Six studies duration.
