Ministry to increase amount of science students

  • The Ministry of Higher Education aims to increase the number of students studying science instead of arts at the IPTs by 2020
  • Minister of Higher Education Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin says the ministry is in collaboration with UTM to organize programmes for science, maths and ICT.
  • He says they hope to increase the number from 30,000 to 100,000 in order to achieve the target.
