Permanent TAR UC campus to be built in Sabah

Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) aims to set its first permanent campus in Sabah next year worth RM50mil.


Development plans are currently being submitted to the Kota Kinabalu City Hall for the building of the first permanent campus for TAR UC in Alam Mesrea, located near University Sabah Malaysia. Work is planned to begin early next year.

At the Sabah MCA annual meeting yesterday, MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai announced that is its first permanent campus. The university campus opened in Sabah in May 2002 and is currently renting premises in Penampang Donggongon, near the Kota Kinabalu city. It is the only branch campus in East Malaysia, offering pre-university and bachelor degree programmes.
