COURSE OVERVIEW

The University of Hertfordshire BSc (Hons) Clinical Nursing is a post-qualifying programme designed specially to meet the needs of QUALIFIED DIPLOMA nurses working in a variety of health care settings.



  • This programme aims to develop the intellectual knowledge and skills of the nurses in order to enhance professional performance.


  • Practitioners will demonstrate skills and knowledge from a range of competencies at different levels emphasizing the role of nurses in social, personal and professional context.


  • Emphasis is on patient-centred care within a dynamic and adaptable environment. The diversity of student experience and skills is valued and harnessed to enable learning that is relevant to individual practice needs and sensitive to the needs of patients and service users.


  • All teaching and learning processes are underpinned by sound educational practices as specified by University of Hertfordshire and the UK Quality Assurance Agency Framework for Higher Education.
