Founded in 1993, the International Medical College (IMC) initially trained nurses for the Pantai Group of Hospitals. IMC, located at Subang Jaya, Selangor and its second centre at Ayer Keroh, Melaka, is focused on providing training to a new generation of nurses and allied health professionals. With support of the Pantai & Gleneagles Group of Hospitals, IMC has a long standing reputation in providing nursing education, which is well recognised locally and internationally. In 2012, the College was acquired by IMU Health Sdn Bhd, which also owns International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia’s first and most established private medical and healthcare university with over 21 years of dedicated focus in healthcare education. IMU Health Sdn Bhd is one of the subsidiaries of IHH Healthcare Bhd, one of the largest listed private healthcare providers in the world based on market capitalisation, with a focus on markets in Asia and the Central and East Europe and Middle East and North Africa (CEEMENA) region. Programmes Currently, IMC offers four programmes: Diploma in nursing, Advanced Diploma in Midwifery, Assistant Nurse Conversion and Post basic in Intensive Care nursing. Graduates of IMC will gain the necessary skills and experience to become competent healthcare professionals through the clinical exposure provided by Pantai Hospitals and Gleneagles Hospitals.
