This program aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, trained and skilled in processing and food technology to produce safe and wholesome food. Graduates are issued can work with a variety of public and private agencies in the areas of food science and technology, including manufacturing, research and development, law and education.

 

Requirements:

  • Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credits in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia paper in July;
  • Have a diploma or other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government and approved by the Senate public;

or

  • Passed in Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least;
  • Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies;
  • Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) other subjects;

or

  • Passed Matriculation examination with a CGPA of at least 2.00;
  • A minimum of a Level 1 (Band 1) in the Malaysian University Bahasa Inggeris Test (MUET).
