Can I pursue my Master in Finance after obtaining a degree in Business Admin?

    Hello,

    The short answer is yes. However, it depends on the individual cases and the subjects that you have completed during your degree, your work experience and the university where you want to do your masters in.

    Universities will evaluate your suitability for the programmes and will assist you. Perhaps, you might need to complete certain papers before pursuing your master studies.

    BUT, since you have a degree in business administration, you can pursue a master of business administration majoring in Finances. This programmes is offered at both, public and private universities like:

    UTAR, APU, Nottingham, UUM, USM and IIUM.

    However, there are other courses that are closely related to Masters of Finance. For instance, there is Financial Planning, Islamic Finance, Financial Management, Investment Banking and others. The demand for niche masters programmes is more demanded.

    The main thing that you might want to consider is which university is more open for your qualifications and individual case.
